Ok, yesterday I called the local Macy's to speak to the person at their TicketMaster counter to see how they run the show down there. The Macy's operator told me that if I wanted to talk to that person I'd have to come in person.

 

FINE.

 

So today I drove down to the mall and I spoke with the Macy's person at the TicketMaster counter:

 

1) I asked "Can you see all available seats?" She said "Not at the same time."

 

2) I asked "Can you see all available seats in a section? Can I ask for 1 seat in section 2" She said "yes, you can ask for that and they can show you that result."

 

2a) BUT She added "Seats go fast so once you see it on screen it can be 'taken' so you have to decide quick." IOW there is no 'seat locking' so to speak.

 

3) I asked "What if there is a huge line here?" She said "Sometimes we hand out random numbers but I haven't seen that in a long, long time."

 

Seeing that TicketMaster is locking-out people out after refusing a few ticket offers I'm going down to the CrabTree Mall at 945am and sprinting to the TicketMaster counter in Macy's.
