GeddyRulz Posted April 19, 2012 Posted April 19, 2012 Gee, whatever could I possibly want this software for? I downloaded and tried i-Sound for Windows, but after much playing around I can only record the first 1:40 of the streaming audio I'm trying to capture. (Nudge nudge.) I'm guessing it stops at 1:40 on this, the FREE version, and will only record more than 1:40 if I buy and register the full version. Anyhoo. Is there a free downloadable "streaming audio recorder" than anyone knows of, which will allow me to record, say, about 7:20 of streaming audio?
GeddyRulz Posted April 19, 2012 Author Posted April 19, 2012 Well, I got my answer in another thread: QUOTE I grabbed the stream using Audio Hijack Pro (OSX) to hold me over until it's available on Amazon or iTunes, at which point I will buy it. I will also buy the album, of course.
danielmclark Posted April 19, 2012 Posted April 19, 2012 But didn't you say you're a Windows user? AHP is Mac only. It's also $32, a little pricey for recording one song if you're not planning on ever using it again
GeddyRulz Posted April 19, 2012 Author Posted April 19, 2012 QUOTE (danielmclark @ Apr 19 2012, 09:50 AM) But didn't you say you're a Windows user? AHP is Mac only. It's also $32, a little pricey for recording one song if you're not planning on ever using it again Yeah, I just discovered AHP is for Mac only. And I have no intention of paying $32 or any other amount for this project. As I said, I'm looking for a FREE download, which may mean using a software package's "trial" version.
